This week in the Long Island Soccer Football League saw all Sunday games cancelled due to the weather.

As a result, we’re able to catch up on all the recent games in the ENYSSA Cups, League Cups, and League games before the winter break.

ENYSSA Cups

Manning Cup

PDB Irish Rovers’ run in the Manning Cup came to an end as they lost 5-1 to Lansdowne Bhoys Saturday, Dec. 2. Lansdowne went ahead 1-0 late in the first half and never relinquished the lead. Rovers forward Lukas Ostermann scored early in the second half to pull the Rovers within 2-1, but that’s the closest they got. Lansdowne dominated the final 30 minutes to advance to the semifinals.

Flamhaft Cup

Favio Garay scored twice for Hicksville American SC, but it wasn’t enough as El Salvador from the Eastern District Soccer League won, 4-2.

Olympiacos New York lost 1-0 to a late goal by Sporting Astoria.

Port Jefferson SC was defeated 4-2 by Manhattan Celtic. Taylour Bolton and Juan Pallares were the goalscorers for Port Jefferson.

Strumpf Cup

Pro-Touch Eagles United lost 5-0 to Lansdowne Bhoys Metro.

Guyana Jaguars Juniors advanced to the semifinals by defeating the American Outlaws Brooklyn, 5-2. Bradley Nestor scored a hat-trick, with Devon Millington and Quincy Adams adding goals for Guyana.

Marth Cup

Glen Cove Avellino defeated New York Hota Bavarians, 6-1, to advance to the quarterfinals as it will face Baisley United. Allan Maragh and Damion James each scored twice, with Craig Gordon and Oneil Plunkett adding goals for Glen Cove. Jero Simpson tallied the lone goal for Hota.

Integral Kings advanced 5-4 on penalty kicks over Garden City Centennials after a 2-2 draw. Integral will meet Long Island Gaels in the quarterfinals. Ricardo Burke and Saidy Fedee were the Integral goalscorers. Derek Lemley and Emir Redzematovic found the net for Garden City.

Port Jefferson SC won 2-1 over CPR Grays to advance to the quarterfinals where it will face New York Shamrocks. Pete Hanson and Pete Antoniades were the goalscorers for Port Jefferson.

Vargas Cup

New York Hota Bavarians advanced to the finals by defeating Baldwin, 4-0. Cheiek Tidiani, Jose Urbina, Oscar Estrada, and Adrian Romo tallied for Hota.

League Cups

McKim Cup – Premier

Goals from River Seybolt and Adriano Gabriele gave Port Jefferson SC a 2-1 win Over New York Serbia and a place in the final where it will play PDB Irish Rovers. Boban Velcanovic was the Serbia goal-scorer.

D1 Hertwig Cup

Forest Park defeated Real New York FC, 3-0, to advance to the semifinals as it will face Port Jefferson. Jhecsson Garcia, Julio Espinal, and Aaron Gallusser scored for Forest Park.

D2 Themann Cup

Two goals from Juan Perez weren’t enough for Floral Park as the team lost 3-2 to New York West Indies United. Algor Gervais, Fernander Demas, and Herve Valcourt each scored a goal for West Indies, which will face Olympiacos New York in the final.

O-50 DeLuca Cup

New York Hota Bavarians defeated Massapequa SC 7-1 to advance to the final where they will meet Baisley United. Klifton Kong recorded a hat-trick for Hota, with Uri Back, Mark Thompson, Chris Campbell, and Juan Noboa each adding a goal. Raphael Ramirez tallied for Massapequa.

League games

Premier

On Tuesday, Nov. 21, PDB Irish Rovers defeated Real New York FC, 5-0, with Akeeba Marshall scoring twice and Will Mileski, Lucas Munoz and Boris Miranda adding a goal.

PDB Irish Rovers continued their improved run of form by defeating Kosmos United CY, 8-1, on Sunday, Nov. 26. Conor Hunter made his Rovers debut, recording a hat-trick, with Victor Montano, Akeeba Marshall, Mustaffa Alobeidy, Lucas Munoz, and Karl-Germain Cesar adding a goal. Lawrence Nikaj was the Kosmos goal-scorer.

A Jonathan Padilla goal was all Forest Park needed as it defeated Port Jefferson Fusion. 1-0.

Two goals from Pierre Papi Sy gave Port Jefferson SC a 2-0 win over New York Polet.

Glen Cove Avellino picked up an 8-2 victory over Real New York FC. Jermain Smith and Oral Smith registered a goal for Real.

On Sunday, Dec. 3, Port Jefferson Fusion defeated New York Polet, 2-0, on goals by Louis Fede and Rocco Famiglietti.

Kosmos United CY defeated Glen Cove Avellino 3-1 on goals by Zhurabek Khusanboev, Sunnatillo Khusanov and Peter Touros.

Division 1

On Sunday, Nov. 26, PDB Irish Rovers defeated Kosmos United, CY 5-3. Chris Hettler scored twice for Rovers, with Frederic Marcel, Josh Guriel, and Matt Strout adding a goal. Stefanos Kleopa tallied twice and Xavier Contreras once for Kosmos.

Forest Park beat Port Jefferson Fusion, 6-1. Jhecsson Garcia scored twice, with Jose Villatoro, Brighan Ortiz, Alberto Matsuura and Rolando Martinez adding goals. Keith Orlando was Fusion’s goal-scorer.

Port Jefferson SC defeated New York Polet 6-2. Juan Pallares scored a hat-trick, Nelson de la Pava scored twice, and Greg Schook added a goal for Port Jefferson. Jose Torres and Ivan Vulin were the goalscorers for Polet.

Mickeal Palmer and Jovaine Malcolm each scored a goal for Real New York FC in their 2-1 win over Glen Cove Avellino.

On Sunday, December 3rd, Port Jefferson Fusion defeated New York Polet 2-1 on goals by Louis Fede and Toni Mutschler. Ivan Vulin was the goalscorer for Polet.

Glen Cove Avellino and Kosmos United CY played to a 2-2 draw. Stefanos Kleopa and Vasilis Mastoras scored goals for Kosmos.

Division 2

On Sunday, Nov. 26 New York West Indies United defeated Oyster Bay Park, 10-0. James Cadet recorded a hat-trick, Pierre Garfil and Fernander Demas each scored twice, with Roody Derineau, Herve Valcourt, and Algor Gervais adding goals for West Indies.

Oceanside United defeated South Jamaica Portuguese, 9-2. CJ Doherty and John Zator finished with hat-tricks, with Jourdan Perez, Tim Munzing and Kevin Becker adding goals for Oceanside.

Division 3

On Sunday, Nov. 26, Guyana Jaguars Juniors defeated Leros, 7-3. Bradley Nestor added a hat-trick, Julian Cambridge scored twice, with Deroy Verwayne and Marlon Benjamin contributing goals for Guyana. Julian Escobar scored twice and Dorie James tallied a goal for Leros.

Asteras New York beat Farmingville Portuguese, 6-3. Tarko Ersid and Nick Petridis scored two goals apiece, with Alex Petridis and George Angelides adding goals. Fabio Alves tallied twice and Vinny Hammel added a goal for Farmingville.

Pro-Touch Eagles United downed SS Cosma Damiano, 4-1. Fernando Alvarez scored twice with Alex Martinez and Kevin Ortiz added goals. Frank Biordi scored for Cosma Damiano.

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, Asteras New York and Guyana Jaguars Juniors battled to a 4-4 draw. Nick Petridis registered a hat-trick and Tarko Ersid added a goal for Asteras. Taejan Wilson George and Bradley Nestor each had a brace for Guyana.

Over-30

On Sunday, Nov. 26, a Jerzy Jankowicz goal was all Polonez needed to defeat Glen Cove, 1-0.

Long Island Gaels VSP and Integral Kings played to a 1-1 draw. Jonathan Boyce scored for the Gaels and an own goal by the Gaels evened up the game.

Port Jefferson edged Baisley United, 2-1, on goals by Pete Hansen and Stanley LaRoche. Ryan Reid was the Baisley goal-scorer.

New York Hota Bavarians came up short in a 3-2 loss to Lindenhurst. Pablo Brizuela and John Rojas were the Hota goal-scorers. Robert Fischetti, C Dossanatos, and Stephen Foley scored for Lindenhurst.

Over-50

On Sunday, Nov. 26, Baisley United defeated New York Hota Bavarians, 2-0, on goals by Richard Green and Bertram Brown.
