It doesn’t matter which uniform Sam Kerr is wearing. She is a lethal goal-scorer on the field.

Kerr, on loan from Sky Blue FC, struck twice for Perth Glory in its 3-1 win over Melbourne Victory Sunday.

The result kept Perth (3-1-0, 9 points) in the Westfield W-League lead over Brisbane Roar FC (3-0-1, 9) by goal differential (plus six to plus one).

Natasha Dowie’s header goal lifted Melbourne into the lead in the second half before striker Rachel Hill connected for her sixth goal in four games to equalize.

Kerr, an Australian international, then took center stage.

First, the National Women’s Soccer League’s MVP and top goal-scorer this past season boosted Perth into the lead in the 65th minute before delivering an insurance goal in the 77th minute.
