HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Hofstra University men will close out the regular season, hosting Brown University for Senior Night at Hofstra Soccer Stadium Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Pride will honor its seven seniors and their commitment to the men’s soccer program in a special pregame ceremony.

The Pride (5-5-6, 3-1-4 Colonial Athletic Association) has won four of its past five games, including topping Binghamton, 2-1, in a non-conference matchup Wednesday. Junior Sean Nealis and senior Danny Elliott scored in the opening 11 minutes.

The Bears (8-4-2, 2-2-1 Ivy League) are coming off two wins over UMass Lowell and Ivy League foe University of Pennsylvania. Brown topped the Quakers, 2-1, in overtime Saturday. The Bears started the season with four consecutive wins, topping Bryant, Quinnipiac, Holy Cross and Tulsa.

Toby Howell leads the team with 12 points on five goals and two assists. In goal, Joey Cippichio has five shutouts, touting a 0.81 goals-against average.

Hofstra and Brown have met just four times before. The Bears took the first two games, before the teams played to a draw in 2010. The Pride picked up a 2-1 extratime win in 2013.

With CAA play wrapping up over the weekend, No. 4-seed Hofstra learned it will host fifth-seeded William & Mary in a CAA Championships quarterfinal at Hofstra Soccer Stadium Saturday at 7 p.m.
