STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Wagner College women’s soccer team will honor its three seniors, goalkeeper Kaitlin Flaherty and defenders Jessica Donnelly and Amanda Buck in a ceremony prior to Sunday’s noon Northeast Conference regular-season finale against Robert Morris at Hameline Field.

Buck, Donnelly, and Flaherty can look back on successful careers on Grymes Hill. During its freshman season, this year’s senior class was a crucial part of Wagner’s first NEC tournament appearance since 1997. Apart from their success on the field, the trio also excels off the field, as all three seniors hold grade-point averages of more than 3.2 in the physician’s assistant and nursing programs.

The Seahawks will look to draw upon last season’s Senior Day victory when Sandra Battista scored with less than four minutes to play to lift the Green and White to a 2-1 victory over Mount St. Mary’s after honoring their six seniors prior to kickoff.

Robert Morris enters this weekend’s play with a 3-4 conference mark along with a 5-11 overall record, good for sixth place in the NEC. With two games remaining in conference play, the Colonials could still reach the postseason with two victories this weekend.
