ORLANDO — You needed a calculator to figure out the final score of the Red Bulls II’ United Soccer League encounter at Orlando City B Saturday night.

If you were counting, or least trying to count, the final was 6-5 in favor of NYRBII in one wild affair at Orlando City Stadium.

Stefano Bonomo recorded a hat-trick and Florian Valot added two more for sixth-place New York (13-13-44 points) in the match against ninth-place Orlando City B (10-9-12, 42).

Bonomo netted his firs goal in the third minute off an Ethan Kutler long ball over the top of the defense.

Nine minutes later, Valot doubled the lead scoring on a 30-yard screamer with a left-footed strike past goalkeeper Carl Edwards, Jr.

Orlando grabbed a goal in the 16th minute off a counterattack to cut the lead in half.

Four minutes before halftime, Bonomo notched his second goal, blasting a volley off a Junior Flemmings feed into the upper left corner of the goal.

Making his first start of the season due to Jordan Scarlett’s red card vs. the Tampa Bay Rowdies, defender Gideon Baah played the first 45 minutes before he was subbed off at the half.

Bonomo finished his hat-trick in the 51st minute and team-leading 10th for a 4-1 lead.

Arun Basuljevic tallied a goal in the 55th minute, one-timing a cross from David Najem for his second goal this season.

Orlando refused to die as it pressed numbers forward, scoring goals by Zach Carroll and Timbo in the 67th and 77th minutes to draw within two as.

NYRB II created a bit of breathing room in the 87th minute as Valot was fouled in the penalty area and converted the ensuing spot kick, his eight goal of the season and a 6-3 advantage.

Orlando struck twice in extra time — by Hadji Barry (penalty) and Austin Martz — with the second coming as NYRB II was down a man due to a David Abidor red card with the game ending, 6-5.

NYRB II heads to Rochester, N.Y. to meet the Rochester Rhinos Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
