HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Hofstra University men return home to host Colonial Athletic Association rival the University Delaware at Hofstra Soccer Stadium Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Pride (1-4-6, 0-0-4) will look to stay unbeaten in CAA play, as it sits fifth in the standings with four draws. Hofstra stepped out of conference play for a trip to Dartmouth Tuesday, falling to the Big Green, 3-0, snapping a streak of four consecutive ties.

The defending CAA champion Blue Hens (5-2-2, 2-1-1) sit in second place, picking up CAA wins over Drexel University and Northeastern University, while tying preaseason favorite William & Mary College and falling to league-leader UNCW.

Preseason All-CAA selection Fede Prieto leads Delaware with three goals and seven points.

Hofstra leads the all-time series with the Blue Hens, 17-12-1, including taking last season’s meeting, 2-1, in Newark, Del. Luke Brown and Danny Elliott scored for the Pride.
