HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Due to rain and high winds moving into the area from Hurricane Jose, the Hofstra University men’s home game against Columbia University has been cancelled and the Pride’s field hockey team’s game against Rider University has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The soccer team was scheduled to play Columbia Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. The game will not be made up.

The Pride travels to the College of Charleston for a Colonial Athletic Conference matchup at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Hofstra’s field ockey team will host Rider Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Hofstra Field Hockey Stadium before welcoming nationally ranked Saint Joseph’s Friday at 4 p.m.
