YONKERS, N.Y. — Baruch College defeated defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 7-1, in a non-conference match at Tibbetts Brook Park Sunday afternoon.

Six Bearcats scored — the seventh was an own goal — in the win as the visiting Bearcats attempted a season-high 36 shots compared to nine by the hosts from the Skyline Conference. Four of the six goals scored were unassisted.

Goalkeeper Victor Torres registered four saves in a quiet afternoon in front of the goal.

The Gryphon scored their lone goal in the 68th minute on a penalty kick by Colin Berg.

The Bearcats will resume their City University of New York Athletic Conference schedule against rival Hunter College at Randall’s Island Field #83 Wednesday at 6 p.m.
