NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – After opening the season with a 3-0-1 mark, the St. John’s University women saw their unbeaten streak come to an end Sunday evening as Harvard University scored in the 105th minute for a 1-0 victory extratime in the CCSU Tournament Sunday.

Leah Mohammadi poked in a deflection of a cross by Dani Stollar past goalkeeper Jordan Kamp.

The Red Storm (3-1-1) and Crimson (3-1-0) played an even match. Harvard outshot St. John’s, 8-7, with both sides getting three shots on goal apiece.

Playing in her home state of Connecticut for the third consecutive game, senior Shea Connors led the offense with three shots, two of which found the target. Leah Mohammadi, who recorded the game-winning goal, paced Harvard with five shots, three of which were on goal.

Kamp made two saves, while Danielle Etzel made three saves for Harvard.

St. John’s hosts Loyola Maryland Belson Stadium Friday at 6 p.m.
