PONTIAC, Mich. — Lansdowne Bhoys are only 90 minutes away from winning their second national championship of the summer.

The Cosmopolitan Soccer League powerhouse recorded a 3-0 victory over Michigan Sporting in the semifinals of the Werner Fricker Cup at the Ultimate Soccer Arena Friday night.

The squad will meet in the winner of the second semifinal between KS Quinto Elimento and CD Montagua Saturday night.

Two weeks ago Lansdowne secured the U.S. Amateur Cup crown and the CSL side look quite hungry Friday night as it grabbed a 1-0 halftime lead behind a Ovan Oakley score.

Lukas Zarges doubled the lead in the 70th minute, firing home a right-footed shot from outside the penalty area.

Paco Navarro put the exclamation point on the win with a late penalty kick.
