With the St. John’s women’s season opener just hours away from kick off, SJU-TV has announced an updated broadcast slate for the upcoming campaign.

In addition to the Red Storm’s seven games on the Big East Digital Network, SJU-TV, the St. John’s University Television Network, will broadcast four women’s soccer matches at Belson Stadium this fall.

The Johnnies’ home opener against Marist Tuesday, Aug. 22 will be streamed live on RedStormSports.com at 7:30 p.m. ESPN3 will carry the remaining three non-conference home games when the Red Storm hosts Loyola Maryland (Sept. 8), Lehigh (Sept. 1) and Long Beach State (Sept. 17).

The game against the Greyhounds Sept. 8 is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, while the match against Lehigh Sept. 10 will kick off at 7 p.m. Later in the month, the Johnnies and the 49ers are slated for a noon start Sept. 17.

The Red Storm men also released their schedule.

In addition to the six games already slated to be carried on the Big East Digital Network, the Red Storm will have its five remaining home games broadcast on ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN app.

Four of the men’s five ESPN3 broadcasts will come during non-conference play, beginning with the team’s home opener against local foe Fordham Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. The Red Storm will return to action on ESPN3 four days later when it hosts Hofstra Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The Johnnies will close out their non-conference homestand on ESPN3 with two matches the following week, welcoming Temple to Belson Stadium Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. before taking on UC Santa Barbara Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.

The Red Storm’s final ESPN3 game of the season will come during conference action, as the Johnnies welcome Marquette to Belson Stadium for a 5:30 p.m. showdown on Oct. 14 as part of a doubleheader with the women’s team.

St. John’s also will have six games carried on BEDN, the official streaming channel of the conference hosted on FOXSportsGO.com and the FOX Sports GO app, beginning with the team’s conference opener at Seton Hall on Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. After a Sept. 23 home showdown with Xavier on BEDN, the Red Storm will have its final four contests of the regular season carried on the channel. Those games are as follows: at DePaul (Oct. 21, 2 p.m.), vs. Villanova (Oct. 25, 7 p.m.), vs. Georgetown (Oct. 28, 7 p.m.), at Providence (Nov. 1, 7 p.m.).
