New York City FC has one less international spot for the 2017 Major League Soccer season.

The club Thursday announced it had traded the spot to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in exchange for $75k GAM (General Allocation Money).

Whitecaps FC has 10 international spots through the rest of the season.
