HARRISON, N.J. – Red Bulls II will look to even the season series at one game apiece as they visit Louisville City FC Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The match is NYRB II’s (7-10-3, 24 points) first visit to Slugger Field this United Soccer League season.
Last year New York came away with a 2-0 victory over Louisville (9-3-5, 32) with goals from Junior Flemmings and Brandon Allen.
New York is coming off a 1-0 win over Toronto FC II at MSU Soccer Park, snapping a three-game skid. Vincent Bezecourt scored the game-winner in the 27th minute, his sixth goal on the year, tying his total from 2016. Bezecourt also leads the USL in assists with eight.
Louisville defeated Saint Louis FC, 4-1, Saturday and sits third in the Eastern conference.
NYRB II dropped the first match in the all-time series to Louisville City FC, 3-0, at MSU Soccer Park earlier this season.
The side returns home to welcome the Rochester Rhinos Aug. 5 at 4 p.m.
