SEATTLE – Sky Blue FC will aim to extend its unbeaten streak to four games when it visits Seattle Reign FC in a National Women’s Soccer League match at Memorial Stadium Saturday at 10 p.m. ET.

“We are really looking forward to getting on the field in Seattle,” Sky Blue FC head coach Christy Holly said. “The goal is to continue our overall improvement as a team and put forth a performance that truly matches our potential.”
Sky Blue FC forward Sam Kerr leads the league in goals (10) and goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan tops the NWSL in saves (60). Kerr already has set a Sky Blye season record for goals. She also stands as the NWSL’s all-time leading goal-scorer with 36.
Sky Blue FC (7-6-2, 23 points) enters the on the heels of a 2-2 comeback draw with the Chicago Red Stars at Yurcak Field Saturday night. After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, Maya Hayes recorded an unassisted tally in the 32nd minute. The hosts found the equalzier in dramatic fashion when Kerr finished off a Sarah Killion cross in the 90th minute.
This series is currently knotted up at 3-3-5 with Sky Blue FC holding a 2-1-3 edge on the road. Saturday night marks the second meeting between these two clubs this season. The first result being a 1-1 draw at Memorial Stadium on NWSL opening weekend. Seattle (5-3-6, 21) enters the game after a 1-1 home draw with the Boston Breakers last weekend.
After this weekend, the NWSL will take its second international break this season, with Sky Blue FC returning to action when it hosts the Washington Spirit at Yurcak Field Friday, Aug. 4.
