HARRISON, N.J. – Red Bulls II Friday signed Red Bulls Academy product Noah Powder to a United Soccer League contract.

The 18-year-old Powder’s registration is complete and he will be available for selection when NYRB II hosts the Charlotte Independence at Montclair State University Saturday.

“It’s great to have Noah back in the mix,” head coach John Wolyniec said. “We’re excited to have him with the team. Noah’s been a part of the academy and played with us last year, so we feel really good about having him back and hopefully I can help him get to the next level.”

Powder, a native of Maplewood, N.J., featured heavily for NYRB II in 2016 as an amateur, playing 1,261 minutes over 20 matches, while scoring two goals en route to a USL Cup title.

He also has appeared for Trinidad and Tobago’s Under-20 national team. With the Soca Warriors, he participated in the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship in Honduras in which he started all five matches and scored twice.

In the 2015-16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season, Powder played 12 games, including 10 starts, for the Red Bulls U-18 side and scored two goals.
