The Uniondale Pitbulls played in a very competition division in the ENYPL.
In a very tight six-team division, the Uniondale Pitbulls captured the Boys Under-15 championship of the Eastern New York Premier League.
It was the Pitbulls’ 2nd consecutive ENYPL title. They also won the Long Island Cup for the past two years.
Uniondale scored 11 goals and allowed nine en route to a 2-2-1 mark.
“All this is due to the hard work of the team’s coach, Victor Guerrero, and the rest of his staff, who not only have displayed great leadership skills but also a great sense of discipline,” Uniondale Soccer Club public relations director Angel Sosa said. “These players have been taught that hard work and respect, on and off the field, is making them great soccer players and great human beings.”
The ENYPL, organized by Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, is America’s oldest continuous premier league, having kicked off play in 2001.
