New York City FC forward Rodney Wallace has been hit with an undisclosed fine along with New England Revolution defender Benjamin Angoua for their actions in the 2-2 draw Wednesday night.

The Major League Soccer disciplinary committee found both players in violation policy regarding hands to the face, head or beck of an opponent in the 78th minute.

Wallace will be unavailable to NYCFC when it hosts the Philadelphia Union at Yankee Stadium at 1 p.m. Saturday. He will be in Costa Rica, preparing for the Ticos’ next two World Cup qualifiers.
