Last week it was a bicycle kick.

This week it was a back-heel goal.

What’s next for Bradley Wright-Phillips?

For the second consecutive week the Red Bulls striker has been honored with the FrontRowSoccer.com goal of the week.

Wright-Phillips was honored for the week ending on Sunday, May 28. It also was the third time the English striker was feted with this honor.

BWP connected for the equalizer in the 47th minute of New York’s 2-1 home win over the New England Revolution.

Goalkeeper Cody Cropper could not hold onto a left-wing feed. Wright-Phillips did as the English striker backheeled the ball into the net for his sixth goal of the season and a 1-1 tie.

“What a goal,” Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch said. “I mean, Brad is incredible, man. He can score goals in so many different ways. Obviously, a big mistake on their end. But the fact that Brad was there to capitalize on it, how clever and quick he was to make that kind of play.

“Brad’s a unique, man. He’s awesome.”

During the sequence Wright-Phillips was shouting at a teammate.

“I think he fumbled it at first in front of him and I was shouting at someone to get the rebound,” he said.  “When I looked around him it was behind me. It was a weird one, I need to watch it again.”

So, what’s next for BWP? The Red Bulls visit the Montreal Impact Saturday. That’s what’s next.
