NEW YORK– The Cosmos B overcame a one-goal deficit, striking twice late in the final 11 minutes to register a 2-1 win over 10-man TSF FC at Rocco B. Commisso Stadium Thursday night.
The visitors grabbed a 1-0 edge on Lucas Terci’s goal on the hour before New York rallied in the National Premier Soccer League.
The comeback wasn’t without its tense moments.
The Cosmos were awarded a penalty kick in the 76th minute, but Jose Najera’s attempt hit the post. Moments later, TSF Tyler Pinho was issued a red card.
New York equalized on Rhys Williams rebound goal in the 79th minute before Bljedi Bardic put in the game-winner in the 89th minute.
