New York City FC will be without three players for Wednesday’s game at Real Salt Lake.

Costa Rican defender Ronald Matarrita (high ankle sprain) and midfielder-forward Khiry Shelton (hamstring) still are recovering from injuries, while midfielder Yangel Herrera is with Venezuelan at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea.

RSL will be without four players on the United States’ U-20s squad at the world championships — Danny Acosta, Justen Glad, Brooks Lennon and Sebastian Saucedo.

City midfielder Alex Ring is one yellow card away from a suspension.
