Red Bulls II forward Douglas Martinez Tuesday was named to the final roster for Honduras Under-20 World Cup Team, the Honduran Football Federation announced.

Martinez departed Tuesday for Honduras to join the U-20 national team in preparation for the U-20 World Cup in the Korea Republic.

The Hondurans kick off their group stage Monday, playing France at 4 a.m. ET, before meeting New Zealand May 25 at 7 a.m. and Vietnam May 28 at 2 p.m. The Round of 16 and knockout round begins May 31, with the final slated for June 11.

Martinez joined Red Bulls II on loan from Honduran first division side CD Vida April 26. He made his NYRBII debut this past weekend against Harrisburg City Islanders as a 75th-minute substitute and scored his first goal four minutes later in a 3-1 win.

In the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, Martinez started five of six matches, recording one goal in the U-20 CONCACAF Championship as Honduras finished second.
