The Major League Soccer disciplinary committee has suspended Atlanta United midfielder Yamil Asad for one game and issued an undisclosed fine.

Asad was sanctioned for violent conduct in the 83rd minute of Atlanta’s 3-1 loss to D.C. United Sunday.

He will serve the suspension during Atlanta’s next match against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium Sunday.
