Scratch yet another New York City FC player for at least a month.

Costa Rican international defender Ronald Mataritta is expected to be sidelined from four to six weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain in training at SUNY-Purchase Thursday.

Matarrita, who has played well and is tied with captain David Villa for the team assist lead with three, was carted off the field.

He joins Khiry Shelton on the sidelines after the midfielder-forward incurred a hamstring strain during City’s 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Union at Talen Energy Stadium last Friday.

Both players will miss Sunday’s 1:30 p.m. home game at Yankee Stadium against Orlando City SC.
