Jordan Rouse will now do his finishing in the Finnish second division.

Former St. John’s University standout Jordan Rouse has signed a contract with Tornion Pallo-47 of the Finnish second division.

A five-year member of the Red Storm, Rouse played in Queens from 2010 to 2014, helping the team reach three NCAA Division I Tournaments during that stretch and claim the program’s ninth Big East tournament title.

The Cary, N.C., native made at least 15 appearances in each of his final three seasons with the Red Storm, highlighted by a 2013 campaign that saw him deliver heroics on the grandest of stages. The defender scored his first game-winner in golden fashion, finding the back of the net in the 99th minute against the University of Delaware to advance the Red Storm to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Rouse and TP-47 will kick off its season against Kajaanin Haka Saturday, April 29.
