Five Major League Soccer players, including three from the Houston Dynamo, have been chose to the Honduras 26-player roster for its next two World Cup qualifiers this month.
The quintet includes defender Maynor Figueroa (FC Dallas), midfielders Roger Espinoza (Sporting Kansas City), Oscar Boniek Garcia (Houston) and Romell Quioto (Houston) and forward Alberth Elis (Houston).
Los Catrachos will visit the United States in San Jose, Calif. March 24 and host Costa Rica March 28.
The Hondurans (1-1-0, 3 points) are fourth place in the CONCACAF hexagonal for the 2018 World Cup.
