The Cosmos announced Friday that the club will hold tryouts for Cosmos B, its National Premier Soccer League team in March.

The tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29.

“Cosmos B focuses on finding and developing young talent to create a path for them to the first team,” Cosmos head coach and sporting director Giovanni Savarese said. “Our B team will continue to be a vital component of the organization and welcomes aspiring soccer players to register to our open tryouts.”

The registration deadline is Friday, March 17.

Players selected for trials will be notified via phone or email. A registration fee of $50 will be assessed to trialists who are selected and confirm to attend the tryout. The team’s NPSL season will begin late April and run through July.

Prospective trialists must provide the following information:

Date of Birth
Experience (professional, collegiate or highest level played)

Cosmos B, which captured the 2015 NPSL title, will play in the Northeast Region’s North Atlantic Conference. Their 2017 opponents will include the Brooklyn Italians, Elm City Express, Greater Lowell NPSL FC, Seacoast United Phantoms and TSF FC.
