Red Bulls midfielder Daniel Royer Monday was named the winner of the FrontRowSoccer.com goal of the week.
Royer tallied the tying goal in the 76th minute of New York’s 2-1 comeback win over Atlanta United at Bobby Dowd Stadium Sunday night.
The Austrian snapped a header from the right side of the penalty area off a Sacha Kljestan corner kick past goalkeeper Alec Kann to knot things up at 1-1. An Atlanta own goal in the 82nd minute eventually decided the season opener for both sides.
