Red Bulls midfielder Felipe was honored by CONCACAF as he was named to the Best XI team of Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal team of the week for the first leg of the competition.

Felipe helped secure New York’s midfield in its 1-1 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps at Red Bull Arena Wednesday night.

The Red Bulls will meet Vancouver in the second leg in B.C. Place on Thursday, March 2.

Former Red Bulls defender Roy Miller also was selected to the team, while playing center back for Saprissa.

Miller, who will play for the Portland Timbers this Major League Soccer season, helped the Costa Rican side secure a scoreless draw with Pachuca (Mexico) at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Tuesday night.

Pachuca will host the second leg Tuesday, Feb. 28.
