New York City FC might be adding a new midfielder very soon.

Venezuelan international Yangel Herrera said he was headed to City, pending the completion of paperwork.

“Will be some five days here in Venezuela solving some paperwork to then join me to the @NYCFC in United States,” Herrera said on Twitter.

Herrera, a defensive midfielder with Manchester City, the team’s parent club in England, probably will be loaned to NYC FC.
