New York City FC takes on C.S. Emelec in Guayauil, Ecuador Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.

The match will air live from Estadio Banco del Pacifico – Capwell on NYCFC.com.

Prior to the game, NYC FC president Jon Patricof and defenders Ronald Matarrita and Shannon Gomez paid a visit to La Aldea, a non-profit organization that welcomes in children and keeps them safe. They greeted the kids by gifting soccer balls and equipment before kicking off mini street soccer games.

NYC then presented a check to La Aldea on behalf of Hearts of Oak, a grassroots group of City supporters that generously raised the funds for this donation.

Later, Andrea Pirlo, Sean Okoli and Andre Rawls visited Torremar High School to take part in an hour-long soccer clinic with children between the ages of 7-17. They helped the players develop their basic soccer skills, took part in a penalty shootout and finished by taking a group picture with the children.

The team headed to Estadio Banco del Pacifico – Capwell for a press conference featuring head coach Patrick Vieira and captain David Villa, followed by a training session.
