ROCHESTER, N.Y. — With less than a week to go to Decision Day, the Rochester Rhinos are giving the soccer fans and citizens of this city an opportunity to pledge their support for the team.

They have called it ROC United, Rally for the Rhinos.

The Rhinos have invited soccer fans from Western New York to Capelli Sport Stadium Tuesday at 6-8 p.m. as the United Soccer League team will have an open mike for supporters to say why they love the team and why it should return in 2018.

You can listen to what Rochester has to say about the Rhinos on “Soccer is a Kick in the Grass,” which will broadcast a special two-hour show from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.

The weekly show is hosted by Andrew Battisti and Joe Sirianni.

As it turns out, the show is usually broadcast on Monday nights, but because WYSL (AM 1040) is broadcasting the University of Rochester basketball game that night, it was moved to Tuesday.

Rhinos co-owners David and Wendy Dworkin Wednesday set a Nov. 30 deadline (Thursday) to raise $1.3 million or the 22-year-old franchise will cease operations.
