TINTON FALLS, N.J. – Sky Blue FC’s Sam Kerr and Raquel Rodriguez have been called into their respective national teams.

Australia national head coach Alen Stajcic has selected Kerr to the Matildas roster for two friendlies against China PR, while Costa Rica head coach Amelia Valverde has named midfielder Rodriguez to the Ticas roster for a friendly against Mexico.

The first Australia vs. China PR match will take place at AAMI Stadium in Melbourne, Australia at 3:30 a.m. ET Nov. 22. The Matildas will travel to GMHBA Stadium in Geelong, Australia, for another pairing against China PR Nov. 26 at 12:30 a.m. ET.

The Ticas will open camp next Monday at the FEDEFUTBOL – Plycem Sports Complex in San Rafael, Costa Rica. They will prepare for Mexico in a game at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San José, Costa Rica Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. ET.

Both players are performing with Perth Glory of the Westfield W-League in Australia while the National Women’s Soccer League is in its offseason.
