New York City FC midfielder Maxi Moralez was named winner of the FrontRowSoccer.com goal of the week Monday.

He was honored for the week ending Sunday, Sept. 24.

Moralez, the smallest player on the field at 5-3, scored his fifth goal this season for City in the 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Conn. Saturday.

Right back Andraz Struna, making his first NYCFC start, lofted the ball to Moralez, who headed the ball past goalkeeper Tyler Deric for a 1-0 lead.
