MILWAUKEE — Despite playing with 10 men for a little more than a half the game, Lansdowne Bhoys defeated the LA Wolves in the Fritz Marth semifinals of the U.S. Amateur Soccer Association Cup Friday night.

Ovan Oakley, off an assist from Sikele Sylvester, tallied the lone goal of the match in the 69th minute.

The Cosmopolitan Soccer League club will play for the championship Sunday.

Late in the game, LA put the ball into the back of the Lansdowne net but it was called back due to an offside call.

Craig Purcell was assessed a red card late in the first half, forcing Lansdowne to play a man down the rest of the way.

Marth was a CSL administrator for many years.

LA is coached by former U.S. international striker and National Soccer Hall of Fame member Eric Wynalda.
