SCHEDULE CHANGE: Red Bulls game at Portland switched to Aug. 18

HARRISON, N.J. – The Red Bulls’ away match at the Portland Timbers has been moved to Friday, Aug. 18 at 10 p.m. ET, Major League Soccer announced Tuesday.

The game, originally scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 20, will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1, Fox Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio.

It will be the only regular-season meeting of the year between the two sides. They played to a scoreless draw last season at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls took the last meeting in Portland, Ore. in September 2015.

The Red Bulls face the New England Revolution in the Lamar Hunt/U.S. Open Cup Thursday.

They will host the San Jose Earthquakes Wednesday, July 19.
