NEW YORK — Jose Najera scored two goals, leading the Cosmos B to a 5-0 victory over Greater Lowell NPSL FC in National Premier Soccer League action Sunday.

The victory solidified the Cosmos B (5-3-1, 16 points) hold on third place in the Atlantic Blue Division in the Northeast Conference while Greater Lowell (three) fell to 1-6-0.

Bljedi Bardic tallied 11 minutes into the match and New York was off and running at Rocco B. Commisso Stadium at Columbia University.

Najera struck twice within a four-minute span — in the 38th and 42nd minutes — to lift the Cosmos B to a 3-0 halftime advantage.

The visitors were far from finished as Salvatore Barone tallied in off a corner kick in the 67th minute before Mohanned Rashid finished the scoring.
