The United States has lost only one home game against Caribbean teams in World Cup qualifying since defeating Bermuda, 6-2, in Kansas City, Mo. in 1968.

The lone defeat was to Haiti, 1-0, in San Diego May 11, 1969.

The U.S. will host Barbados in a second-round CONCACAF match at The Home Depot Center Sunday (ESPN2, 5 p.m. ET).

The Americans are 18-1-3 at home vs. Caribbean countries in CONCACAF qualifying, riding a 10-game winning streak going to back a 1-1 draw with Jamaica in Columbus, Ohio in 2004. On the road, they’re 13-3-7.

The U.S. is 1-0-1 at neutral sites.

The overall record is 32-4-11.

The U.S. hosts Trinidad & Tobago at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. Thursday night.
