ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester Lady Lancers have announced four player signings.

The newcomers are midfielders Jai Jackson Happy Orere-Amadu, forward-midfielder Taylor Wingerden and defender Dylan Patterson.

“Throughout the country, great local players play in other cities,” Lancers owners Salvatore (Soccer Sam) Fantauzzo said. “Our goal for the Rochester Lancers is to highlight local talent and help the development of local soccer in our great city.”

Jackson and Patterson played for Winthrop University while Orere-Amadu and Wingerden performed for the University of Texas at San Antonio.

“We are very excited to announce the signing of these four players,” associate head coach Sal Galvano said. “They display the level of professionalism and quality that we are looking for.”

The Lady Lancers’ home opener is for Aquinas Institute Sunday, May 21 at 1 p.m. They will compete in United Women’s Soccer.
