LONDON — Though she did not score a goal, Rockville Centre, N.Y.’s Crystal Dunn played the full 90 minutes of the Chelsea Ladies’ 5-1 victory over Sunderland in the quarterfinals of England’s Women’s FA Cup Sunday.

Hannah Blundell and Ramona Bachmann each scored two goals for Chelsea. Drew Spence added a late goal for the winners at Wheatsheaf Park.

After conceding an early penalty, the Blues rolled off five unanswered goals.

“I think the start didn’t go as we thought it would, but how the team reacted was just fantastic,” Bachmann said. “We got two goals just before half-time which was really important it’s good to be leading when you come back out. To win the game as we did is really good but I think there’s still stuff we can do better.”

Chelsea advanced to the semifinals, which will be played Monday, April 17. The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
