HARRISON, N.J. — The Red Bulls II, who will play their home games at Montclair State University, will have their matches live streamed on the United Soccer League champions’ official YouTube Channel.
As part of a multifaceted partnership between the two entities, the Red Bulls II will give Montclair State students the opportunity to develop real-world sports broadcasting experience by allowing them to participate in the live streaming.
Select matches will also be streamed via Montclair State University’s official campus radio channel, WMSC 90.3 FM, which is also available on the iHeartradio app.
“We are happy to provide new and exciting ways in which students can have the opportunity to learn and develop within our club,” Red Bulls II director of business operations Jamie Ponce said in a press release. “This partnership allows us to help grow their passion for the sports industry while providing them with an outlet to enhance their skill sets in both radio and streaming broadcast.”
Red Bulls II will play 14 of their 16 home games at MSU Soccer Park. The club’s home opener is against the Richmond Kickers Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m.
“We are thrilled to be exclusive radio partners with the New York Red Bulls II for the 2017 season,” WMSC general manager and instructor Anabella Poland said. “This is an amazing opportunity for Montclair State University students involved at the college radio station to work alongside a professional team and bring that coverage to our listeners.”
