The Red Bulls reportedly are ready to name a successor to Ali Curtis.

Assistant coach Denis Hamlett, who had been de facto sporting director while Curtis was negotiating his departure from the Major League Soccer team in January and February, will be named as permanent sporting director this week, according to Kristian Dyer.

This is Dyer’s tweet from Tuesday morning:

Per source, hearing will officially make Denis Hamlett the sporting director sometime this week. Big move for the club.
