Findley, 31, has played with the LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and Toronto FC in Major League Soccer and most recently with the now-defunct club Rayo OKC in the North American Soccer League.

He has made 11 appearances with the U.S. national team.

The 31-year-old Somma, who has made three apearances with the South African national team, played four games with the San Jose Earthquakes from 2008-2009. He also has had stints with Leeds United, Chesterfield and Lincoln City in England.

The Red Bulls meet New York City FC in the opener of the Desert Diamond Cup for both teams in Tucson, Ariz. Wednesday at 4 p.m. (YES Network).
